The only dynamic level is forte, and the tempo marking is moderately fast. Violin 1 uses the E string only as an open pitch, with everything else on the D and A strings. Parts are usually in unison. Optional percussion is included to add a little Latin flavor. Very easy.

Les Taylor
Les Taylor studied at Ball State University, University of Maryland, and VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, where he now teaches jazz harmony and band arranging.
He has written and published music for symphonic, concert and marching band, jazz ensemble, string orchestra, and beginning band where his Real Music for Beginning Band series remains a popular, user-friendly, and fun group of pieces to play at the early grade levels.
