M.L. Daniels (1931-)
My name is M. L. Daniels, and I taught at Abilene Christian University for 34 years, serving as music department chairman for 15 of those years. While I taught music theory, counterpoint, orchestration, conducting, and composition, my primary interest was composing. I have over 100 compositions published in such diverse formats as Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Vocal and instrumental solos, Hymns, and even a string quartet.
I judge bands and orchestras in my home state of Texas, accept commissions for most kinds of music, teach song leading classes at churches and singing schools, and am available for humorous and Christian speaking engagements.
