About this item

Commissioned by the Miller Jr. High School Jazz band of Aberdeen, WA, this tune will be a big hit with players and audiences alike. Playable by jazz bands ranging in size from 9-17 pieces, it features an exciting shout chorus and written or ad lib solos for alto, trombone and bass. The Latin groove can also be enhanced by adding percussionists on cowbell, congas, etc.; Greg provides specific suggestions on this subject in his score notes. A guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson is included.
