About this item
Michael Abene not only produced the 1992 GRP All-Star Big Band recording, but he contributed some of the hippest arrangements as well. This unique treatment of the Horace Silver classic is an excellent example of Michael's creative style. This publication is the authentic chart rescored for standard instrumentation by Michael himself. The variety of styles and ample settings for improvisation make this one a real showpiece. (Woodwind doubles optional).
