About this item

Recorded on the John Fedchock New York Big Band's latest CD No Nonsense, this slow blues chart has subtle sophisticated harmonies placed over an after-hours roadhouse 12/8 groove. After the subtle opening it heats up with solos by alto sax, trombone, and bass, and features powerful ensemble passages, along with an a cappella chorale section with the horns, all culminating in a down and dirty ensemble shout chorus.
