Alexandre Desplat
Alexandre Michel Gérard Desplat (born 23 August 1961) is a French film composer. He has received four Academy Award nominations, five BAFTA nominations and five Golden Globe nominations, winning a Golden Globe for his work on The Painted Veil in 2006. In 2011, Desplat won his first British Academy Film Award for his score for The King's Speech. Among various projects, Desplat has worked on a variety of Hollywood films.
