This edition combines the most popular movements of Handel's Water Music. It includes all movements from the Suite in D, as well as 3 additional movements from the Suite in G. This edition is modified in such a way, that a beginner's orchestra or even a string section alone can master it. The strings play without exception in the 1st position. The 3rd part has been put to violin-key as well as viola-key.
Additional wind players may include 2 parts each in C (flute or oboe) and in B-flat (clarinet and 2nd clarinet / trumpet), one part in F / E-flat (French horn / alto saxophone), as well as one bass part in C for bassoon or trombone. The simplified thorough-bass is put for either harpsichord or piano.
