"Trencrom", in the Cornish language means "a crooked place, a hill". It is the name given to a hill in West Cornwall behind St.Ives, from the top of which can be seen St.Michael's Mount off the south coast and Godrevy Lighthouse on the north coast.

Judith Bailey (1941-)
Judith Bailey is a contemporary British composer who has published extensively in various forms. After training at the Royal Academy of Music in London, she spent some 30 years freelancing and was conductor of the Southampton Concert and Petersfield Orchestras. In 2001 she returned to her native Cornwall. Judith's compositions have been been widely performed.
